The provider proudly claims that this is the cheapest deal of its kind in the country, offering around £125 in savings in comparison to services provided by Orange or Virgin over the full life of the contract.

However, Ovum analyst Steven Hartley has expressed his concern and has said that the likelihood of profitability for BT broadband in such a deal is very small. The problem for BT is that it does not have its own mobile broadband network and uses Vodafone to provide this service.
