So Little Time, So Many Real Estate Gurus

Every day, there’s more information on the net about real estate investing. The number of people who consider themselves to be “real estate gurus” is exploding, and each day sees the birthing of new websites and blogs related to real estate investing.

And - no surprise here - many things you’ll find online are at least confusing and sometimes downright dishonest. So considering that state of affairs, here are some ideas about some of the real estate investing resources you’ll find out there. Note that we leave it to the reader to make their own judgments concerning the legitimacy of each resource:

(Briefly, on a related note, there’s one really good real estate investing website that is absolutely no cost. When you get a second, have a look at it.)

    * Bryan Ellis is a little-known internet marketing expert with a very strong background in technology, real estate investing and internet marketing. Ellis is a little unique among most of the “gurus” because his blog is genuinely news oriented, with relevant political and economic commentary.

    * Gerald Romine has an interesting software package for real estate investors that helps them calculate profit and loss and does a lot of paperwork for them automatically. Romine’s program is not cheap - not even close - but the feature set is impressive.

To a greater or lesser degree, all three of these people are well known in the real estate investing business. However, fame does not constitute legitimacy or reliability. For your own benefit, we encourage you to conduct a more thorough investigation.
